Teaching Assistant – Flexible Days

Are you a dedicated and caring individual with a passion for supporting students? We're looking for a flexible and reliable Teaching Assistant to work across various primary schools in the Bristol area. Whether you're seeking part-time work or flexible days to fit around your schedule, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

 

Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: Various schools across Bristol

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Contract Type: Flexible (Part-time, Supply, or Ad-hoc Days)

Start Date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities

 

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teachers and students in a variety of classroom settings. You’ll assist with lesson delivery, provide one-to-one support to students, and help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. We have a wide range of flexible roles available, from part-time placements to ad-hoc positions, allowing you to work the days that suit you.

 

Key Responsibilities:

-          Assist the teacher with classroom management and lesson delivery.

-          Support students with their individual learning needs, both in groups and one-to-one.

-          Help with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.

-          Encourage positive behavior and provide emotional and social support to students.

-          Promote inclusivity and support children with additional needs where required.

-          Build strong relationships with students and staff to create a productive learning environment.

About You:

-          Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.

-          A genuine passion for supporting children in their education and development.

-          Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different classroom settings and needs.

-          Good communication skills and a patient, proactive approach to working with children.

-          A desire to make a positive impact on students' lives and learning experiences.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
