Are you passionate about supporting students and making a positive impact in the classroom? Do you have experience as a Teaching Assistant or a strong desire to work in education? If so, we have exciting opportunities for you!

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work with primary and secondary schools across Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, work flexible hours, and support students both in general class settings and on a 1:1 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting students’ learning within the classroom.
  • 1:1 Support: Provide individual support to students with specific learning needs or challenges, ensuring they reach their full potential.
  • Student Engagement: Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging engagement and participation in lessons.
  • Behaviour Management: Support students in maintaining appropriate behaviour, ensuring a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Learning Resources: Help prepare and organize learning materials and resources to support students’ activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people is preferred, but not essential.
  • A passion for education and helping students succeed.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
  • Flexibility and reliability to work across different schools and age groups.
  • A commitment to supporting the well-being and progress of all students.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £38, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
