Location: Bristol, BS34

Contract: Temporary / Part-time & Full-time available

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm

We are working with a wonderful primary school looking to hire a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. The role offers flexibility, allowing you to work 1:1 with students or assist with general classroom tasks. If you are committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

-          Provide 1:1 support for students who need additional help with their learning.

-          Assist in general classroom activities and help to maintain an engaging and focused environment.

-          Support children with special educational needs (SEN) on a case-by-case basis.

-          Help the class teacher with lesson preparation and organisation of classroom resources.

-          Foster positive relationships with pupils, promoting their emotional and social development.

-          Assist with classroom management and ensure that children are following instructions and guidelines.

Requirements:

-          Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.

-          Previous experience in a teaching assistant or similar role is desirable, but not essential.

-          Patience, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude.

-          Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

-          A positive, can-do approach to supporting students and teachers alike.

-          A flexible and adaptable mindset, with the ability to adjust your working schedule as needed.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £38, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
