What You’ll Do:
- Support classroom teachers in delivering tailored lessons and activities designed to meet the unique needs of students, whether in small groups (2-3 students) or on a one-to-one basis
- Work in classrooms of 8-10 students, collaborating with other teaching assistants to help students achieve their full potential
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where they feel confident and supported

- Strong Communicators: You’ll need to be reliable, punctual, and approachable, with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Experience with SEN/SEMH (Preferred but Not Required): Experience working with individuals who have additional needs is desirable but not essential. A genuine passion for helping students with diverse needs is what matters most.
- Behaviour Management Skills: Strong behavioural management skills are key to supporting students with complex needs, and we’re looking for someone who can maintain a positive, calm, and structured environment.
- Willingness to Learn: We welcome candidates who are eager to develop their skills and are open to learning from more experienced staff.
- Passion for Education: If you’re dedicated to helping children with additional needs and excited to begin your career in the education sector, this role is for you!
Why Choose Teaching Personnel?
- Flexible Hours: Choose your own hours! Whether you’re looking for part-time or full-time work, you can decide to work 1 day a week or up to 5 days a week during term time.

- Referral Bonus: Earn a £50 referral bonus for each friend you refer to us who joins our team!
- Dedicated Support: You’ll receive support from a personal consultant who will guide and assist you throughout your journey, ensuring you’re well-equipped to succeed in your role.
