Job description

Are you passionate about inspiring young minds through the stories of the past? Teaching Personnel is seeking a History Teacher for a secondary school in Tadley, starting November 2024. This full-time role involves teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for a longer-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring History lessons tailored to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons to ensure all students achieve their potential.
  • Foster a love for History while promoting critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Who Should Apply?

  • Qualified History teachers with a proven track record of success.
  • ECTs qualifying this year, eager to begin their teaching careers.
  • Unqualified teachers with relevant experience or a passion for History education.

Requirements:

  • Degree in History or a related field, with relevant teaching qualifications preferred.
  • Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
