Job description

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Teacher of History for a secondary school in Tadley, with a start date in January 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and motivated History teacher to join a supportive school and inspire students.

Role Overview:

  • Teach History across Key Stage 3 and 4 to students of varying abilities.
  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that foster students’ historical thinking and understanding.
  • Work collaboratively with the Humanities department to maintain high standards and ensure the best possible outcomes for students.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Applications are encouraged from ECTs qualifying this year as well as unqualified teachers with a strong background in History.
  • A passion for History and a commitment to engaging students in the subject.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and motivating learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
