Job description

Support secondary schools in Salford, providing guidance for young people in the absence of teachers.

  • Flexible work as a Cover Supervisor
  • Ad hoc work - Work as much or as little as you like.
  • Flexible start dates.
  • Secondary schools local to Salford.
  • Earn up to £1700 per month.

Responsibilities of a cover supervisor include:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons/work covering a teacher’s absence.
  • Facilitate learning across varying levels of ability within specific subjects.
  • Support children aged 11-16 with additional learning needs.
  • Support students in small groups who require additional guidance to reach their attainment grades.
  • Gain invaluable experience towards teaching training applications.

Application Requirements

  • Any transferrable experience working with children/young people is required.

Located in Salford, our client secondary schools can be accessed via the M62/A58 from surrounding areas including Bolton, Ramsbottom, Heywood and Prestwich. For non-drivers, there is several public transportation links meaning the schools are accessible from neighbouring areas such as Radcliffe, Whitefield and Tottington.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
