Cover Supervisor – Stockport

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can gain classroom experience and support the education of young learners? Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join dynamic secondary schools in Stockport.

About the Role:

  • Start Date: January 2024
  • Contract: Flexible (part-time and full-time roles available)
  • Pay Rate: £85–£110 per day (depending on experience)
  • Oversee and manage classrooms during teacher absences, delivering pre-set lesson plans.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement in line with school policies.
  • Build positive relationships with students to encourage participation and learning.
  • Provide support in pastoral duties and contribute to school-wide events as needed.

  • Experience working with young people in educational, coaching, or mentoring roles.
  • Confidence to manage groups effectively and maintain a structured environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive and adaptable approach.
  • A passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students' lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
