Curriculum Support Assistant
Job description
Are you passionate about supporting students and helping them achieve their full potential? We support numerous schools across Rochdale who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Curriculum Support Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and students to ensure that every child has the resources and support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of lessons and support students in their learning across various subjects.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with additional learning needs, ensuring they can fully participate in class activities.
- Help prepare classroom materials and resources to enhance the learning experience.
- Support teachers in monitoring and assessing student progress, offering feedback and encouragement.
- Assist with classroom management to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help students with tasks such as organising their work, completing assignments, and understanding instructions.
What We’re Looking For:
- A passion for supporting students and a genuine interest in education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
- Patience, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to the needs of individual students.
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
- A positive and proactive attitude, with a focus on helping students reach their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
