Job description

Position: Site Operative

Location: Northampton

Are you a hardworking, reliable individual with a passion for maintaining clean and safe environments? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated School Site Operative to join our team and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of one of our clients schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General maintenance and upkeep of school buildings and grounds
  • Assisting with site security, including opening and locking up the premises
  • Conducting minor repairs and liaising with contractors when needed
  • Ensuring the school is clean and safe for students, staff, and visitors
  • Supporting with event setups and equipment moving
  • Reporting any health and safety concerns

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential)
  • Practical skills for basic repairs and maintenance
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and good time management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
