  • Assisting with pastoral care, ensuring students’ well-being and safeguarding needs are met.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A strong interest in working with students with special educational needs.
  • Previous experience in a similar role (e.g., teaching assistant, youth worker, support worker) is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting students’ learning and well-being.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff.
  • A willingness to undertake training and professional development to enhance SEN support skills.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Weekly pay between £419.25 - £500, depending on experience and responsibilities.
  • The opportunity to gain valuable school-based experience, particularly for those considering a career in education, psychology, or social work.
  • The potential for a permanent position within the school.
  • Access to training and professional development through Teaching Personnel.
