Exciting Opportunity: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Weymouth

About the Role:

This full-time position will involve working closely with students who have Autism and learning difficulties. You will be supporting them in both one-to-one settings and small group environments within a specialist provision designed for students with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs). Your role will be vital in helping them engage in learning and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personalised support to students with special educational needs, helping them overcome learning barriers.
  • Assisting teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Working with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
  • Monitoring and reporting student progress to ensure individual needs are met.
  • Promoting independence and self-confidence among pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
