Contract: Full-time, permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Bournemouth. This full-time position is available immediately and will involve providing 1:1 support to students with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs), helping them achieve their full potential within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with EHCPs, both in and out of the classroom.
- Assist students in overcoming learning barriers and promoting independence.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to implement individual learning strategies.
- Help foster an inclusive and positive learning atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Experience in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Ability to build rapport and provide nurturing, patient support.
- Understanding of EHCPs and how to implement individual plans effectively.
- A proactive and flexible approach to working within a school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
