Exciting Opportunity: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Weymouth

About the Role:
This full-time position will involve working closely with students who have Autism and learning difficulties. You will be supporting them in both one-to-one settings and small group environments within a specialist provision designed for students with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs). Your role will be vital in helping them engage in learning and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personalised support to students with special educational needs, helping them overcome learning barriers.
- Assisting teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Working with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Monitoring and reporting student progress to ensure individual needs are met.
- Promoting independence and self-confidence among pupils.
