Flexible SEN Teaching Assistant – Day-to-Day Supply

Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants (SEN) on a flexible, day-to-day supply basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates, individuals with previous experience, or those looking to transition into a rewarding career in education, particularly within the SEN sector.

Your Role: As a Flexible SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering personalised education plans tailored to SEN students.
  • Assist with the preparation of specialised learning materials and classroom activities.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional or behavioural challenges.
  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment for all students.
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support students in achieving their personal learning goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A genuine passion for helping students with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in diverse classroom settings.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards challenges.
  • Experience working with SEN students is beneficial, but not essential. A desire to learn and grow in this field is most important.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
