Job Title: SEN Specialist Tutor

Job Duties:

The SEN Specialist Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored educational support to students with severe special educational needs. Duties include developing individualised learning plans, delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum, assessing student progress, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure the overall well-being and academic development of the students.

Required Qualifications:

- Relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with students with severe special educational needs
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and best practises
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of SEN provisions
- Ability to create and implement individualised learning plans
- Proficiency in assessing and monitoring student progress
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a home setting, collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
