Exciting Opportunity for an SEN Support Assistant with Expertise in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH)
An exceptional opportunity has become available for a compassionate and skilled Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support Assistant, specialising in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH), to join a highly regarded primary school in Woolton (L25). This long-term position is set to begin in January 2025 and will run for two terms.
The school is seeking a committed professional to provide tailored one-to-one support for a Reception pupil as part of their new intake. This role involves offering both academic and social assistance, ensuring the pupil thrives in their educational journey.
Key Requirements:
- Experience working with SEN pupils, particularly those with SEMH needs.
- Strong understanding of de-escalation techniques and strategies.
- Familiarity with working to Individual Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring regular monitoring and progress updates.

Role Details:
- Hours: 8:45 am – 3:15 pm, Monday to Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
