Science Technician wanted for Secondary School in Luton!

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Technician to join a dynamic and highly skilled Science department at a large Secondary School in Luton. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for science and a keen eye for detail.
This is a Full-Time role with a January 2025 or ASAP start.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the senior science technician to discuss equipment requirements and schedules.
• Ensure all necessary classroom, laboratory, and workshop science resources and materials are prepared and available when needed.
• Clean, prepare, and assemble technical materials, apparatus, and equipment.
• Safely store equipment and dispose of used or waste products in accordance with school policies and statutory regulations

Am I suitable?
• Degree or Higher in Chemistry or Science related field
• Confident with the safe storage of chemicals and equipment
• Previous Science Technician/Laboratory experience would be beneficial
• Experience working in a school or with young people would be beneficial
