Job Position: Primary School Teacher

Start Date: September 2025

Location: Wigan, M46

Pay Rate: Daily Supply  £130-£180 / Pay-to-scale for full-time Roles

Contract: Full-Time, Part-Time, Temporary introduction with the opportunity to progress to a permanent position

Are you a passionate and dynamic teacher looking for a flexible role in Education? Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in Atherton who are looking for a Primary School Teacher to join their easily accessible school just off the A577. They have “A positive reputation for embracing and celebrating every kind of achievement.” This primary school is part of a wider group of schools under the leadership of the Education Partnership Trust who “have a vision to create outstanding schools which transform learning, lives and communities”.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A Teaching degree or PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Obtain a DBS check registered on the update service. If you don’t have one, we can assist with this process!
  • Being passionate with an energy for teaching
  • Be adaptable, remain calm in challenging situations and respond accordingly to the specific needs of pupils.
  • Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Someone who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
