Job Title: Teaching Assistant

North West England, Lancashire, Burscough

Contract, expected to work Part-Time hours

Salary:

£12.90 - £14.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Supporting teachers in delivering educational activities
• Assisting students with learning tasks
• Helping to create a positive learning environment
• Providing one-on-one support to students as needed
• Assisting in classroom management and behaviour supervision

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs in English and Maths
• Experience working with children or young people
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum of GCSE level education

Experience:

Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of child development
• Ability to work well in a team
• Patience and empathy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

• Part-time hours
• Work within a school setting
• Collaborative work with teachers and other staff
