Part-time Year 1 Teaching Assistant Required – Fulwood – Preston

The Headteacher of an over-subscribed reputable Primary School in Preston are on the look-out for a dynamic Year 1 teaching assistant to join their Key Stage 1 Team from February 2025. This role is to cover maternity leave and the successful applicant will be employed on a mornings only contract with the option for hours if the successful candidate desires.

The successful candidate will be working alongside excellent teachers and support staff in this exciting and dynamic role. The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of Phonics and the Y1 curriculum. A caring, flexible, and common-sense approach is important.

The school is at the heart of the local community and the Head Teacher is very supportive of the staff within the school, offering feedback and CPD opportunities when possible. The successful candidate can expect a warm welcome and support form all peers for the duration of this role.
