Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pastoral support to students, offering guidance and assistance with personal and academic challenges.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all students, promoting their well-being and emotional resilience.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to address student needs and concerns effectively.
• Implement strategies to promote positive behavior and conflict resolution among students.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of pastoral care initiatives and programs within the school community.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and interventions, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant policies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young people in an educational or youth support setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the school environment.
• Relevant qualifications or training in youth work, counseling, education, or a related field are advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
