Pastoral Mentor
GBP60 - GBP80 per day
Temporary to Permanent position
Southampton

Do you have ability to engage with learners who find accessing education difficult?
Can you guide and support those who need additional support?
The Job role:
- To work with disengaged learners to ensure their attendance and behaviour is in line with school policy
- To liaise with SENCOs, all relevant staff members, parents and outside agencies to ensure students welfare is supported
- To differentiate strategies and learning objectives in order to support those learners
- To ensure records are maintained for assessment and feedback purposes
- To work sensitively with all students in line with the school safeguarding policy
- To mentor particular students allocated to you to ensure behaviour, attendance and pastoral support is provided at all times
- To work as a part of the Learning Support Team
- To be positive and always professionally represent the school with an engaging, compassionate and enthusiastic approach
