Job description

Are you passionate about outdoor learning and inspiring young minds through hands-on experiences? A Secondary SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) provision are seeking a dedicated Outdoor Education Tutor for a full-time, temporary role in the Rawtenstall areaThe provision are dedicated to removing barriers to learning for students with complex needs. 

Key Details:

  • Location: Rawtenstall
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 3:30 pm
  • Pay: £12.90 - £14.50 per hour, depending on experience
  • Contract Type: Temporary

What You'll Do:

  • Lead engaging outdoor education sessions, fostering a love for nature and environmental learning
  • Support students in developing practical skills and teamwork through outdoor activities
  • Work closely with other staff to create a positive and safe learning environment

Requirements:

  • A passion for outdoor education and working with young people
  • Relevant experience in education or outdoor activities
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
