Your Role

As a Maths teacher, you will:

• Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring all students are challenged and supported in achieving their best.
• Inspire a passion for mathematics, fostering problem-solving skills and critical thinking in students.
• Regularly assess and track student progress, adapting your teaching to meet their individual needs.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of a stimulating and engaging Maths curriculum.
• Establish and maintain high expectations for student behaviour and achievement within the classroom.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas, resources, and best practices for effective teaching.
• Participate in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification) with a strong subject knowledge in Maths.
• Be a committed professional with the enthusiasm and energy to inspire students to excel.
• Demonstrate a track record of effective teaching and the ability to engage learners of all abilities.
• Be resilient, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced school environment.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both with students and colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
