Are you a passionate and adaptable Maths teacher looking for a rewarding role in secondary education? We are seeking dedicated Maths Teachers to join our network of schools across the Portsmouth area. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, rigorous Maths lessons that drive achievement and inspire a love of learning.

  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom settings.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.

  • Follow lesson plans provided or create your own when necessary.

  • Mark and assess students' work, providing feedback as required.

  • Collaborate with school staff to support students' educational development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.

  • A degree in Maths or a related subject.

  • Experience teaching Maths in secondary schools.

  • Strong classroom management skills.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in various school settings.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
