Are you driven by the desire to make a meaningful impact on young people who have faced trauma and need support to overcome life’s challenges? Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with a specialized provision in North-West Bristol, dedicated to helping students navigate their path toward a brighter future through the guidance of compassionate staff and positive role models.

Do you have what it takes to connect with these students and earn their trust?

We are looking for an individual who is confident in handling challenging behaviours, resilient, dependable, and above all, empathetic. This role requires a deep understanding and a caring approach, as these qualities are crucial for supporting children on their journeys. While previous classroom experience is beneficial, it’s not essential. What truly matters is a genuine passion for helping these young individuals thrive.

About the Role

  • Start Date: November, with potential for a longer-term contract for the right candidate.
  • Experience: Classroom experience is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Class Size: Small groups of 6–8 students, allowing you to build strong, impactful connections.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, term-time only—ideal for a healthy work-life balance.
  • Compensation: £84 - £95 per day, paid weekly. Convenient commuting options and onsite parking available.

What We’re Looking For

  • Passion: A deep commitment to making a difference in students' lives.
  • Confidence: The ability to work effectively with young people who display challenging behaviours and struggle to manage their emotions.
  • Skills: Experience with de-escalation techniques and working with challenging behaviours, whether with children or adults, is highly valued.

This role is available immediately for the right person. If you're ready to take a rewarding step in your career and become a positive influence on young lives, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and take the first step toward making a lasting difference!
