Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Location:

North West England, Lancashire, Chorley

Salary:

£12.90 - £14.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
• Assist students in accessing the curriculum and learning materials
• Work closely with teachers to implement individual education plans
• Monitor and record student progress and behaviour
• Support students in developing social and life skills

Required Qualifications:

Relevant certification in learning support or education

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working with individuals with learning difficulties

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of different learning needs and teaching methods
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Patience and empathy towards students

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training in special education or related field

Working Conditions:

Work in a classroom setting, collaborate with teaching staff, and assist students on a one-to-one basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
