About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Complex Behaviour Support Worker to join our team within a Primary School. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with young people, has experience in managing complex behaviours, and is looking to contribute to a supportive and nurturing school environment. An interest in sport is highly desirable, as we believe physical activity can play a crucial role in helping students manage their emotions and develop key life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with complex behavioural needs.
- Assist in developing and implementing behaviour support plans.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student wellbeing.
- Use sport and physical activities as a tool for engagement, relationship-building, and development of positive behaviours.
- Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
- Experience working in an SEMH or similar environment
- Strong understanding of complex behaviours and behaviour management strategies.
- A passion for sport and the ability to engage students through physical activity.
- Patience, resilience, and a commitment to making a positive impact.
- A desire for a long-term role with the potential for permanent employment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
