Job Title: KS2 SEN Tutor

Location:

East of England, Essex, South Ockendon

Job Duties:

As a KS2 SEN Tutor, your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored support and guidance to Key Stage 2 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This includes developing individualised learning plans, delivering lessons that cater to each student's specific requirements, and monitoring progress closely to ensure academic and personal growth.

Required Qualifications:

- A relevant teaching qualification

- Experience working with SEN students in a educational setting

Education:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

Experience:

Proven experience in teaching and supporting students with SEN, specifically at Key Stage 2 level

Knowledge and Skills:

- In-depth understanding of SEN strategies and best practises

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional certifications in Special Education or SEN teaching

- Experience with assessment and evaluation of SEN students

Working Conditions:

The role may require flexibility in working hours based on student needs and academic calendar.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
