Job Title: KS2 SEN Outreach Tutor

Job Duties:

• Provide academic support and guidance to Key Stage 2 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting (their homes, care home or local library).
• Develop and implement individualised educational plans tailored to students' specific learning requirements
• Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student development
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication with agency

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with SEN students
• Understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 2

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
