Job Description:

Job Duties:

• Provide tailored support and intervention to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Plan and deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to help students achieve their learning goals
• Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and SENCO to create personalised learning plans
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents/carers

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting
• Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and strategies for supporting SEN students

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring children with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and external professionals

Working Conditions:

• Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
• Work primarily within a learners home environment
• May involve some travel to different school locations within the East of England

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
