Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored support and intervention to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to help students achieve their learning goals
- Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and SENCO to create personalised learning plans
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents/carers
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting
- Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and strategies for supporting SEN students
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring children with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and external professionals
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
- Work primarily within a learners home environment
- May involve some travel to different school locations within the East of England

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
