Job Title: KS2 SEN Intervention Tutor

Location:

East of England, Essex, Tilbury

Job Duties:

  • Provide tailored support and intervention to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to address specific learning needs.
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to help students achieve their educational goals.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience working with SEN students in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience working with SEN students in a school environment.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN educational strategies and interventions.
  • Strong ability to build rapport with students and create a supportive learning environment.
  • Proficiency in assessing student needs and developing appropriate learning plans.

Working Conditions:

  • Part-Time hours, with flexibility required to meet student needs.
  • Work primarily in a learners home setting, collaborating with teachers and support staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
