Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £100 - £125 per day

Location: Wigan, M46

Contract: Full time, Temporary with the opportunity to secure a permanent position

Teaching Personnel are looking for a HLTA for an easily accessible school just off the A577 in Atherton with "A positive reputation for embracing and celebrating every kind of achievement". This primary school is part of a wider group of schools under the leadership of the Education Partnership Trust who “have a vision to create outstanding schools which transform learning, lives and communities”.

The ideal candidate will have:

• HLTA status / Meet the HLTA standards
• Child Workforce DBS
• Be able to cover planned absences in behalf of class teachers
• Be enthusiastic and have a hands on approach to helping pupils achieve their goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents and colleagues.
• Ability to fulfil the role of a Teaching Assistant as well as higher level tasks such as PPA Cover, Small group tuition and 1:1 support.
