SEN Teaching Assistant

In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support children with Special Educational Needs such as Autism, Cerebral palsy, and other neurological needs
• Work effectively with other support staff to create a safe learning environment
• Help to assess and monitor children’s learning and development
• Support education in line witht the Priamry National Curriculum
• Support pupils with varying levels of Austism from severe to mild
• And much more!

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young adults with SEN in a school/care setting or through personal experience
• Knowledge of Primary Curriculum
• Ability to build relationships with children and staff quickly
• have a proactive efficient midnset and attitude
• A kind and caring manner to working with children
• The ability to be flexible to suit the needs of all children
• Experience supporting with personal care/moving and handling (desirable, not essential)
