Graduate Teaching Assistant

Teaching personnel are working in partnership with a number of primary schools across Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking full-time Teaching Assistants. The schools are in great locations with excellent transport links between Crewe, Sandbach, Congleton and Macclesfield.
They are looking for someone who is passionate about the development of young students and able to confidently provide support to those students who require it.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people is desirable but not necessary for this role
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills within the classroom
- Being consistently interactive within the classroom and creating a positive environment
- Safeguarding training (this can be done through Teaching Personnel)
About the role:
- Full-time role, Monday-Friday
- Opportunity to earn between £85-£100 per day (dependent on experience)
- Working 1-1 and in small groups with students who require additional support with reading and maths
- Supporting the classroom teacher, ensuring the schools behaviour policies are followed
To be considered for this role, applicants must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
