Forest School Leader
Are you passionate about outdoor education and inspiring young minds? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Forest School Leader to join our team and lead engaging, nature-based learning experiences for Primary School children in Everton.
Position: Forest School Leader
Location: Everton
Hours: Variable – typically 8.30am – 3.30pm
Contract Type: Flexible
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate Forest School sessions in line with the Forest School ethos.
- Foster a safe and inclusive outdoor environment where children can develop confidence, resilience, and a connection to nature.
- Implement risk assessments and ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork through hands-on, nature-based activities.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and the wider community to support children's development.
Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification (or working towards completion).
- Valid First Aid certification, including outdoor first aid.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience working with children in an educational or outdoor setting.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for outdoor learning and child development.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of local flora and fauna.
- Experience in crafting, bushcraft, or environmental conservation activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
