About the Role:

The Headteacher and Governing Body of a well-regarded primary school in Everton are seeking an experienced and proactive Primary Teacher to manage Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) across five classes, alongside delivering targeted intervention support.

The successful candidate will work part-time on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, supporting pupils from Year 1 to Year 5. Additionally, they will dedicate a half-day each week to providing focused maths support for a small group of Year 5 pupils to help bridge learning gaps.

This vacancy has arisen due to the current postholder relocating, presenting a potential temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher seeking a part-time position within a supportive school community.

Although the school maintains a GOOD standard of behaviour, the successful candidate must demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and a commitment to enforcing the school-wide behaviour policy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
