Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Chadderton area. We are looking for a passionate individual who can deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in English, helping students to develop a love of literature, language, and creative writing. This position offers the chance to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, where every student is encouraged to reach their potential.

As an English Teacher, you will teach across Key Stage 3 and 4, delivering lessons that inspire students to explore the world of English literature and language. You will work with a diverse range of students and help them develop the skills they need to succeed academically. The ideal candidate will have a passion for English and a strong understanding of the curriculum. You should be able to create engaging lessons that foster critical thinking, creativity, and a love for reading. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
