Job description

Are you a passionate and dedicated English graduate looking to begin your teaching career? We are seeking an enthusiastic ECT English Teacher to join our supportive and dynamic school from September 2025.

As an ECT English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive English lessons to students across various year groups. You’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with your students, inspire them with the wonders of literature, and help them develop the skills they need to succeed in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to engage and challenge students.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing timely feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
  • Take part in the school's ECT induction and mentoring program for your professional growth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
