Job description

Job Title: Early Careers Teacher - KS1 or KS2

Location: North West England, Lancashire, Burnley

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £100 - £120 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in either KS1 or KS2
  • Plan and prepare lesson materials in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in either KS1 or KS2
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment processes

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in a primary school setting - this can be through placements

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficiency in using educational technology in the classroom

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
