Location: Burnley, Lancashire
Start Date: February 2025 (Post-February Half Term)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive primary school in Burnley. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Year 5 curriculum.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student growth and development.
- Implementing the school's nurturing behaviour policy to support the well-being and behaviour of all students.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 5.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
