SEN Teaching Assistant – EAL Support | Bispham | Full-Time | Start After Easter

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with English as an Additional Language (EAL) in a primary school in Bispham. This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday) starting after Easter, providing a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners.

Role Overview:

Provide tailored support to pupils with EAL and SEN needs
Assist with classroom activities, helping students develop their English language skills
Work one-to-one and in small groups to boost confidence and communication
Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to adapt learning materials
Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

Experience supporting children with EAL and/or SEN needs
A passion for education and helping children reach their potential
Strong communication and adaptability skills
A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
