EYFS Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Opportunity in Burnley!

Location: Burnley, Lancashire
Start Date: After the Easter Break (April 2025)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Salary: Competitive – based on experience (£13.00 - £14.00 per hour)

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to support young learners in a vibrant and nurturing classroom environment. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an inspiring team, helping children develop a love for learning from the very start of their education journey.

What You’ll Be Doing:

✅ Supporting children in their early development, fostering curiosity and confidence
✅ Assisting the teacher with engaging lessons that make learning fun

✅ Providing tailored support to ensure every child thrives in their own way
✅ Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

What We’re Looking For:

Experience & Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Education (or working towards it)
Passion & Creativity: A love for working with children and a fun, energetic approach
EYFS Knowledge: Understanding of early years development and learning frameworks
Team Player: Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and colleagues
Patience & Care: A nurturing attitude to support children’s emotional well-being
