Trainee Teaching Assistant for Psychology Graduates – Level 2 Course
Are you a psychology graduate eager to gain hands-on experience working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? This is the perfect opportunity for you! Join us as a Trainee Teaching Assistant and enhance your professional experience while working towards a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in the classroom, with a focus on students with SEN.

- Help manage classroom behaviour and create a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with additional needs, using strategies informed by your psychology background.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Psychology or a related field.
- A passion for working with children, particularly those with additional needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students thrive.
- Experience or interest in working with children with SEN is desirable, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
