Teaching Assistant

We are a ‘good’ school in the Padiham area, currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our staff team as a general additional support in the classroom across Key Stage 1 and 2. Our school is a vibrant, active environment that boasts an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.

• Full time Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm.
• Competitive rates £12.90 - £13.75 per hour
• Experience and relevant qualifications desired.
• Temporary with a view to make the right candidate permanent.

The role:

• Supporting in day-to-day tasks in the classroom.
• Working with the class teacher to create harmonious atmosphere for the pupils.
• Helping pupils in their learning, working 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3 with pupils the class teacher has recognised they may not be reaching their targets.
• Recognise gaps in pupils learning and report back to relevant class teacher.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
