Supply Teacher Opportunity – Flexible Work in Wigan
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join our network of client schools across Wigan. This role will see you working in a variety of secondary schools in areas such as Wigan town centre, Standish, Hindley, and Leigh.
About the Role
As a day-to-day Supply Teacher, you'll enjoy flexible working arrangements that fit your schedule, with opportunities for work up to five days a week. Whether you're an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced educator, this role provides the chance to gain experience in diverse school settings, build professional relationships, and develop your skills without the added responsibility of planning or marking.

Responsibilities
- Maintain classroom order and ensure minimal disruption during teacher absences.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects, engaging students effectively.
- Provide subject-specific cover where possible, prioritizing your specialism when available.
Requirements
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Be adaptable and confident in delivering lessons across different subjects and year groups.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills to ensure a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
