Flexible Cover Teacher Opportunities – Wigan & Bolton
Are you a passionate and qualified teacher looking for flexible work opportunities? We are currently recruiting Cover Teachers to support schools across Wigan and Bolton. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT, this is an excellent chance to broaden your experience in a variety of educational settings.
Role Details:
- Position: Cover Teacher (all subject specialisms welcome)
- Location: Schools across Wigan and Bolton
- Pay: £120 - £150 per day (dependent on experience)
- Additional Pay: Scale rates available for roles involving planning and marking
- Availability: Must be available 2-5 days per week

Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher
- Maintain classroom behaviour and engagement
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of the students
- Provide feedback on lessons and student progress as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with KS3 and KS4 students.
- Strong classroom management skills
- A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
This role is ideal for those who are passionate about teaching but value the flexibility that comes with supply work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
