Cover Supervisors Wanted – Secondary Schools in Bury

The Role:

Job Title: Cover Supervisor (Secondary Schools)
Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
Start Date: Immediate or after Easter
Work Pattern: Full-time & flexible roles available
Pay Rate: £85 - £110 per day (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll be supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain focused and engaged with their pre-planned lessons. You’ll need to manage classroom behaviour, provide guidance where necessary, and create a positive learning atmosphere. This is an excellent opportunity for those considering a teaching career or looking to gain valuable school-based experience.

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking confident and adaptable individuals who can command a classroom and support students effectively. While prior experience working with young people is an advantage, it is not a requirement. This role is particularly well-suited to graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with strong communication and organisational skills who can maintain a structured and engaging classroom environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
