Cover Supervisors Needed – Salford

Are you a confident and adaptable individual looking to gain classroom experience? Secondary schools across Salford are seeking strong Cover Supervisors for immediate starts or after Easter. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates or those considering a career in teaching!

The Role:

Position: Cover Supervisor (Secondary Schools)
Location: Salford, Greater Manchester
Start Date: ASAP or after Easter
Contract Type: Full-time & flexible work available
Salary: £85 - £95 per day (dependent on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a classroom in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across a variety of subjects, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. Strong behaviour management skills are essential, as you will be expected to support students with their learning while upholding school policies. This is a great opportunity to develop your confidence in the classroom and gain hands-on experience working with young people.

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for confident and adaptable individuals with a strong classroom presence. Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential. This role is ideal for graduates or those considering a career in teaching, as it provides valuable school-based experience. A degree or relevant qualifications are preferred, along with excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to manage a classroom effectively and engage students in their learning is key.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
